Urban Outdoors craft subscription boxes are designed by our forest school leaders to help children discover and connect with their natural environments at home at their own pace. We focus on child-led seasonal activities and our crafts use natural materials and loose parts readily available in urban environments. Each activity has been carefully created to be engaging for children with little adult supervision needed.

To support local craftsmen we have joined up with Neils fire steels to offer these handcrafted ferro rod fire steels for creating a spark for firelighting. Neil can make full fire-lighting kits including tinder pouches and ferro rod fire steels all hand made to order. The bone handled fire steels are beautifully crafted.
