Womens Craft for Wellbeing course
Our 6 week Craft for wellbeing courses start on 6th March running on Sundays 1.30-4.30pm. The last session will be on the 1st of May to celebrate the changing of the season with Beltane and Mayday celebrations around the Fire.
We will be surrounded by nature in our lovely secret garden location in Drayton Park, N5

Our 6 week course offers a variety of personal growth and empowerment discoveries
Crafts – Harness Ancient wisdom
Working alongside skilled crafts people you will learn how to:
make natural cordage -using natural materials for fibre work and making natural dyes
Forage for Medicinal plants to make medicinal and delicious skin salves and tinctures
Try your hand at crafting Pewter Jewellery cast by you in our own forge
Embrace the power of Primitive fire, learn the ancient craft of firelighting using flint and steel, bow drills and tinder cloth, and do some top notch open fire cooking!
Make your own charcoal pencils for drawing and sketching, sketch from nature and botanical drawing
Eco therapy -Use games, ceremony, space and metaphors to discover who we are
Through games and investigations of the environment and ourselves we will lead you on a journey of self discovery and self acceptance. Explore ways to inspire and enrich ourselves, our communities and each other.
We will explore the potential of using ceremony, space and metaphors to discover who we are, the things that may hold us back in life, negative influences and past trauma – to ultimately work towards self acceptance and empowerment
There will be deep connection with the natural world through a variety of immersive experiences and activities.
Identify the flora and fauna of Britain
Develop authentic relationships rooted in gratitude and appreciation for the natural world
Track themes and patterns in your life through active listening and the sit spot
Develop your passions, skills, and an understanding of their values
Develop courageous and authentic self-expression while one-on-one and in groups connected to place
Gain an understanding of the role of ceremony and metaphor to work towards self empowerment
Work on gratitude for ourselves, others and place
Crafting can be deeply therapeutic and social, on this course we use its repetitive nature as a tool to calm and facilitate connection between the participants of the course alongside our deeper therapeutic personal investigations.
